Another Tampa Fatal Pedestrian Accident

The St. Petersburg Times reports that a 21-year-old pedestrian, Jaquavias Henderson, was struck and killed by an SUV driven by Sharon Boyette of Wesley Chapel early Wednesday morning at about 3:50 AM while attempting to cross Fletcher Avenue in Carrollwood, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

The fatal pedestrian accident happened just east of Orange Grove Drive.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with deputies. The westbound lanes of Fletcher Avenue between Orange Grove and Lake Magdalene were closed for several hours.

No charges were expected to be filed.
