The Florida Highway Patrol is looking to the public for help to provide information about a hit and run accident in Zephyrhills Friday night shortly before 10:30 p.m. that killed a 23-year-old man, WTSP New reports.
The cyclist, a resident of Miami-Dade County, was reportedly traveling south on Fort King Road (CR-41) near Fairview Heights Road when troopers say he lost control of the bicycle and fell into the roadway.
A vehicle then hit the cyclist, and continued driving, FHP reports say.
FHP asks that any witnesses to the bicycle crash or anyone with information on the driver and vehicle contact Corporal Erik Bromiley at 813-631-4020.
