Tampa Road and Burbank Road in Oldsmar, Florida was the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash on Friday evening at about 6:50pm. According to a report filed by Bay News 9, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation team said that Donna Butrick, 44, the driver of the car who struck the motorcyclist, was traveling eastbound on Burbank Road and turning onto Tampa Road in a 2001 Hyundai Elantra when the accident occurred.

Apparently, the unidentified motorcycle rider was westbound on Tampa Road. Butrick didn’t yield the right of way to him and the two vehicles collided.
He was transported to a local hospital where he later died. His name has not been released.
