Giant Bicycle Recalls Carbon Road Forks

Giant Bicycle Company is one of the largest bike manufacturers. Giant Bicycle Company recently recalled some 2,400 Giant Bicycle Forks due to their instability and risk of sudden malfunction. According to www.thebicycleplanet.com, the carbon-fiber forks were sold on the following models:

  • 2001 model Giant TCR
  • Team TCR 0
  • TCR 1
  • TCR 2
  • and OCR 1 bicycles and framesets

It was reported these forks were sold from September 2000 through April 2001. Framesets were sold for between $500 and $1,000, while the bicycles were sold for between $1,000 and $4,500. Giant suggested these bicycles be taken to an authorized Giant dealer for inspection and replacement free of charge.
