Inspiring Interview of a Cyclist with MS Determined to Live an Active Life

Jim met Susie Wyss at Cyclefest in Lakewood Ranch this year. She stopped by our booth after riding the 34 mile option. This wasn’t unusual, except Susie has had MS for eight years. Jim was moved by her story. Eight years ago overnight Susie went from being in the best condition of her life and a fitness instructor to being unable to walk and requiring full time care. With the help of new medications, however, and her determination and grit, she began to swim. She slowly began to regain the use of her legs and has gone on to riding a road bike for distances up to 50 miles.

You’ll find Susie’s inspiring story on the JimDodsonLaw Facebook page. Susie describes the 17 drugs now available for MS patients and the progress being made with MS research. She also talks about the Bike MS ride March 7-8 at Champion’s Gate south of Orlando. Watch for more on this. Jim will join her team and will be raising money for the event.
