If you’re not familiar with Livestreaming, it’s a live video broadcast through Facebook. During a live presentation viewers have the opportunity to tune in, submit questions and have open dialog with the presenter. A program may last for a couple of minutes or up to thirty minutes or longer depending on the topic.
Jim is currently broadcasting live every other Thursday morning at 10 a.m. on a variety of cycling-related topics along with some inspiring thoughts on life. He will begin a weekly broadcast schedule the first week in September. If you miss a live presentation they are always available on Facebook or YouTube for replay on your schedule.
Over the past several months he has done programs on Uninsured Motorist insurance, replacing your bike after a crash, e-bike basics in Florida, a demo of six taillights from different manufacturers and the inspiring stories of Tracy Sefcik and Karen Darke with encouragement to live our best lives.
Here is what you can expect over the next few weeks: Jim will be interviewed live on July 26th by Jennifer Quinn, a nationally recognized Livestream authority; on August 9th he will talk about the newest research on bike helmet safety and on August 23rd he will be interviewing Dave Williams of Velosurance about the insurance they offer to protect your bike against loss, theft or damage. Future topics will include a demonstration of the newest bike headlights as well as interviews with various cycling component manufacturers.
We look forward to having you tune in to our next Livestream broadcast.
