Founded in 1985 by a parent whose son suffered a TBI, the mission of the center is to improve the quality of life for all persons with brain injuries and their families through support, prevention, research, education, and advocacy.

Central Florida Brain Injury Support Group

A brain injury support group that meets twice a month for socialization, educational speakers, and to share resources and experiences. A local group that is survivor driven and self-supported, they seek to promote friendship, support, and awareness for caregivers, family members, and survivors.

Florida Department of Health-Brain and Spinal Injury Program

Their purpose is to provide Florida residents who have sustained a TBI the necessary services that will help them during recovery. Services include case management, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, assistive technology, and nursing home transitioning services.
