What are T-Bone or Side Impact Car Accidents?

Video Transcription:
I'm Jim Dodson. I'm a personal injury and car accident lawyer with offices in Clearwater but we represent clients throughout Florida.

We're involved now in a case in which a person was driving into an intersection and a car coming in the opposite direction made a left turn and impacted the other driver's door. This is referred to as a t-bone or side impact collision. These types of accidents often occur at intersections just like the one I'm talking about.

Because of the nature of how this type of accident occurs, a lot of force is exerted against either the driver's side or the passenger's side and the person on that side of the vehicle typically is the one that gets the brunt of the injury. This can result in serious injuries, classically a head injury, neck and back injuries and even, sadly fatalities.

I understand that if you've been involved in this type of accident, that you've got matters that are a concern to you. I've dealt with clients with those same concerns and I've written a easy-to-read consumer guide about car accidents that I really think can help you.
