I came across a study recently that studied people that when they were sober they were asked the question of “whether you would drive a car after you had begun to drink.” And they would say “no.” Then these people were allowed to drink and then they were asked the same question again, and shockingly, their answers changed a lot.
So, people who said they wouldn’t drive a car after they’ve been drinking, decided they would drive a car after they in fact had been drinking. So, the point of this is that we need to have a plan before we go to a party or go out to dinner as to who is going to be driving the car on the way home and don’t let that decision be made after someone has been drinking.
