I was Injured in a Fall Accident, Do I have a Case?

Video Transcription:
In order to bring a successful fall case, the lawyer for the person who has been seriously injured, is going to have to be able to prove that the property owner did something wrong, that they were negligent as the law would call it. That they are at fault for causing the condition which resulted in the fall.

In our practice we talk to so many people who call after a serious injury from a fall and there is this enormous misunderstanding that when someone falls on someone else’s property that the property owner is responsible to pay for their medical bills and compensate them for their injury. That is simply not the case.

There is a requirement that we need to prove that the property owner did something wrong and was at fault. And, when you get past fault, then you’re ability to bring a case has been proven.
