Can I Still Have a Case if the Police Didn't Give the Other Driver a Ticket?

Video Transcription:
It's pretty common for the police to not issue a ticket in a traffic case. But most people expect that the police is going to give someone a ticket but this just simply is not the case. Whether or not the police officer gave someone a ticket or not, this won't affect the actual case that your lawyer is going to handle for you. Because the ticket itself is not admissible in your case and it's not admissible in the court of law in Florida.

What governs the case is what people did, the facts. Where were the cars, how fast were the cars going, who caused the accident and what did both drivers do to avoid the accident. This is what determines the case. If the officer didn't give a ticket it's not going to change anything with the case settlement. This is why it's not important to be concerned with the ticket issue. Call your lawyer and let your lawyer know the facts.
