Tampa Bay is 2nd in the Nation for Fatal Pedestrian Collisions

Video Transcription:
Florida has the distinction of having four of the top five most dangerous metropolitan areas in the country for pedestrian safety. And, in fact, the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater area ranks second in the nation for being the most deadly to pedestrians.

Most pedestrians are injured simply trying to cross the road in a crosswalk, or on a sidewalk walking along the road. And, they are injured because of the distraction and impatience of drivers. Florida pedestrian attorney, Jim Dodson, thinks drivers should be held responsible.
